A Corpse Goes to the Ball

I have a story for New Years Eve. The February 8, 1940 edition of the New York Observer featured a story of a woman freezing to death on the way to a New Years Eve Ball. A few years later Sheba Smith penned a poem "A Corpse Going To A Ball" based on the incident.
