Monday Picture Theme is #Crank

Yankee Siege

The theme of the day for September 30, 2024 is #Crank. It took quite a long time to crank down the throwing beam of the “Yankee Siege”, a trebuchet created by a dentist welder in Greenfield, NH. For several years it was a tradition to visit and watch pumpkins hurled at a “castle” that he had created out of oil barrels.
