A Wonderful Day
Thanks to the many folks that wrote birthday messages and posted photos on Facebook. I’m worried I might forget to acknowledge someone so this “group hug” will need to suffice.
My Yoga class gave me a rousing rendition of “Happy Birthday” which was fun.
The weather was beautiful today, typical of September and my favorite time of year. Ginny and I had lunch at the Waterhouse Restaurant in Peterborough. The salmon skewers were tasty. I took a break from “choring around” and picked up the guitar to sing all eleven verses of Dylan’s Desolation Row. Life is good when you can remember that.
I knew I had to eat a healthy lunch because after lunch I treated myself to some cider donuts from Windy Hill Orchard with my birthday Coffee (Boatyard Dog) from Rocky City Coffee in Maine.
I think I prefer the donuts to the more traditional cake.
As I write this I know I am sufficiently caffeinated to wait up for the “debate” tonight. I already have printed out my debate bingo cards.
Tomorrow the start of the next chapter in My Strange Life.
