Shut the door on '24
The theme of the day for December 31, 2024 is #Shut. I had nothing for this so I took a photo of the shutoff switch on my generator. I know it is a stretch, but whatever works.

On this day - December 31, 2016
In the past we would celebrate German New Year with friends in New Ipswich. It conveniently occurred at 6 PM EST which is a reasonable time for the celebration. On that date we had a nice supper and launched sky laterns without burning down the town.
