Never did pellets but did cut firewood on my property. I harvested sick or dead trees. Some of them had ants. Stacking the wood nest to my 100 yr old Willow was a mistake. Last wk due to the ice the willow lost it's largest section. It was V-shaped and split. Looks like the ants weakened it. I now buy 'clean' firewood from locals. My back with herniated discs appreciates. Forty years ago I was told by my neurologist I had the back of a 74 yr old. I hope that's still true.
